Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.
Sessions comprise of a 10 minute safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by 55 minutes Climbing in the arena and 5 mins to debrief and remove your harnesses.
Please arrive around 15 minutes before your session so we can ensure you are signed in and ready for briefing.
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. No dresses or skirts please.
Open toed shoes, flip flops, boots, crocs, rock shoes or heels are not permitted in the climbing arena.
Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.
Lockers for small items such as keys and mobile phones are available for Clip ‘n Climb participants only near the safety briefing area.
There must be a supervising adult 18+ on the premises for saftey reasons – Climbing is fully supervised by trained staff so you can leave them in our capable hands but must not leave the premises – you can enter the arena to watch the child – 1 adult 18+ per child, you will have to watch the safety video and wear a hi vis within the arena – no other children can go into the arena only climbing children only
There is parking throughout the international sports village. Car parks can get busy at peak times so please ensure you arrive in enough time to check in for your booked session.

Fun HQ is situated in the Vindico Arena at the International Sports Village, Cardiff
The Active Play Zone is suitable only for Children under 12 years old.
No advance booking is required for the Active Play Zone, tickets can be bought at the Play Zone Entrance on the day and Entrance is on a first come first served basis.
The Active Play Zone is a separate attraction to ClipNClimb and access to Play Zone is not included in Climbing Tickets
Sessions are a maximum 2 hours long.
No shoes are to be worn in the Active Play Zone, all children must wear socks at all times. Socks are available to purchase at Fun HQ should you forget them.
No – Only Food & Drink Purchased at Fun HQ Kitchen can be consumed on the premises, however we do allow birthday parties to bring along a Birthday cake
